Indian Ocean Service (IOS) ? Implementation of an 8th vessel

09 Aug 2012

Hapag-Lloyd likes to announce the implementation of an 8th vessel to the service.

Hapag-Lloyd is pleased to announce the implementation of an 8th vessel to its Indian Ocean Service (IOS).

The new schedule will be effective with the sailing of ?Tessa? (voyage 2235) from Hamburg August 31, 2012.

With the necessary adjustments of the berthing windows, also the rotation at the North Continent ports had to be changed.

The new rotation will be as follows:

Hamburg ? Antwerp ? Tilbury ? Tangier ? Cagliari ? Jeddah ? Jebel Ali ? Karachi ? Nhava Sheva ? Mundra ? Jeddah ? Cagliari ? Hamburg

The investment of an extra ship is being undertaken in response to port congestion, schedule reliability, emission reduction and a strong desire to ensure a reliable fixed day weekly service.

Please find attached the updated schedule details.
